Document Description
The State Water Board’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program is financing the Project referred to internally as Chualar Wastewater Consolidation. The Chualar wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) is unable to meet updated waste discharge requirements and is posing a risk to public health and the environment. The Project aims to avoid further risk by pumping the wastewater from Chualar 7.5 miles north to the City of Salinas and the Monterey One Water Regional Treatment and Recycling Facility.
