Document Description
The existing restroom facilities at both the Paddlewheeler and Upper Docks locations within Picacho SRA are in poor condition and don’t comply with accessibility requirements. This project would significantly improve the visitor experience at these restroom facilities by providing modern, pleasant and durable restrooms facilities. The project would install prefabricated vault accessible restrooms at two sites: The Paddlewheeler and Upper Dock Boat-In campgrounds. In addition, supporting facilities including, but not limited to, drainage facilities, routes of travel, parking, signs and a pay box would be modified and/or installed.

If the project is implemented as indicated within the CDPR Project Evaluation Form, then it is exempt under the following classes within the CDPR Departmental List of Exempt activities according to CEQA §15300.4:
• “Utility repairs or minor upgrades” (Class 1, §15301)
• “Modifications of existing facilities for handicap access.” (Class 1, §15301)
