Document Description
The Lakeview Terrace project is an affordable housing development by Self-Help Enterprises (SHE) at the northeast corner of Pickerell Avenue and Whitley Avenue in Corcoran, CA 93212. The project will take place on a combination of four parcels and total 3.6-acres. The development will provide 72-units of rental housing for households under 60% of the area median income (AMI) and will include a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units.
There will be a total of six 2-story residential buildings and a 1-story community building. The community building will be available for gatherings and community workshops and will also provide a common space for the residents and their guests. The project will include on-site amenities such as parking, a community room, community kitchen, computer room, picnic/bbq area, playground, and on-site parking. The project is designed to be fully electric, and the community will also include a solar photovoltaic system designed to offset communal and residential loads. The project will feature electrification with high-efficacy fixtures in units, community spaces, and outdoor space. SHE will offer a robust program of on-site services available to all residents, including job training, health and medical services, financial training, and homebuyer education.
