The Proposed Project would involve the renovation (repair and minor alteration) and reconstruction of the existing structure, including utilities, with a new structure that would have substantially the same purpose, size, and capacity as the structure replaced. The reconstructed structure would include reconstructed utility systems and/or facilities with negligible expansion of capacity. No expansion or change to the existing use of the facility would occur. Therefore, the CEQA Class 2 exemption applies to this discretionary action.
