Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-LAN-40600-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Southern California Edison (Permittee), as represented by Hazem Gabr.
The project consists installing one new wood utility pole, listed as Pole 4958530E. Installation requires excavation of an approximate seven-to-ten-foot-deep hole, with an approximate diameter of three feet, drilled by a truck mounted auger. Access for the installation of the new pole requires 530 feet of overland travel, which requires the removal of channel vegetation to create a 15-foot-wide path within Little Rock Wash to allow for vehicle and equipment travel. This removal of channel vegetation includes the removal of native vegetation, including mature shrubs and one mature Juniper tree. The project also includes the remediation of all project areas, including the regrading of channel areas back to their pre-project contours, removal of project generated wastes, and the restoration of channel ecology and morphology upon completion of the project.
