Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed an extension with changes to Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2020-0075-R4, issued to North West Kern Resource Conservation District. The Agreement authorizes activities related to the repairs of levees along a 1.6-mile length of Poso Creek. Actions will include removing material from two borrow sites and filling erosions and blowouts ranging in size from one cubic yard to 862 cubic yards. The Project extends the Agreement expiration to December 1, 2029, and includes changes to address the California Endangered Species Act candidacy of western burrowing owl (Athene cunicularia hypugaea).
