Document Description
The Yuba City Aquifer Storage and Recovery Well System Project would include construction of an aquifer storage recovery (ASR) well at the existing City-owned water treatment plant (WTP). Construction of the proposed ASR well would allow for underground storage of excess treated surface water and for the recharge of the groundwater aquifer during low demand winter months. The water stored in the ASR
well could be recovered as needed to meet short-term demands and supplement existing water supplies.
