Document Description
Rehabilitate the existing airport vehicle parking lot and airport entrance road. The proposed project does not increase the size or change the location of parking. The existing asphalt surfaces in the parking lot are highly degraded and raveling due to weathering and thermal stress. Project includes repaving, striping, new lighting, drainage and ADA improvements.

Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project includes reconstruction of existing asphalt and concrete surfaces and existing drainage facilities. As such, the project represents negligible expansion of existing use and any alterations are minor.
The reconstruction includes pulverizing and partial removal of existing asphalt and concrete pavement and aggregate base, scarifying and re compacting subgrade, and placing new aggregate base material and asphalt. New solar lighting will be installed throughout the parking areas. Stormwater improvements include replacing slotted drains with drain inlets and underground piping.
