Document Description
The purpose of this project is to issue a right-of-entry (ROE) permit to East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD) to test a pump and conduct water samples of a well on a parcel of land owned by the Department of Parks and Recreation. EBRPD will hire contractors to complete the tests. The contractors will first visit the site within 72 hours before the test to set up the pump. They will place a generator on site to power the pump. The pump will run for 4 hours to test the flow of water from the well and the contractors will collect samples from the water. The pump and generator will be removed from the site by the contractors upon completion of the tests. All work conducted in association with the ROE permit will comply with all State and Federal environmental laws, including but not limited to the Endangered Species Act, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and Section 5024 of the Public Resources Code.
