Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-MEN-54044-R1C, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Frank Columbo. The Project is limited to one (1) encroachment to upgrade an existing culvert. Work for this encroachment will include excavation, removal of the existing culvert, replacement with a new properly sized culvert, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.

The Columbo Stream Crossing Project (Project) meets the criteria for categorical exemption type Class 4; California Code of Regulations, title 14, section 15304 because the project includes replacement of an existing stream crossing culvert. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
