Document Description
The project will install Midwest Guardrail System (MGS) and will require potholing within the existing right edge of pavement at three locations on State Route 18 in San Bernardino County. The locations identified are Postmile 32.93 traveling north, Postmile 32.93 traveling south, and Postmile 34.02. These locations are next to drainage ditches with up to 50 feet drops that lack any guardrail protection. Installation of Midwest Guardrail System (MGS), including potholing, is needed for safety purposes due to steep drainage ditches. All work will be done within Caltrans right-of-way.
