Document Description
The County of Tulare intends to have trees planted at Kaweah Oaks Preserve in Exeter, CA, through Sequoia Riverlands Trust to replace trees removed as a result of the Avenue 364 over Cottonwood Creek Bridge Replacement Project. The Revegetation Project area will not exceed 5 acres. The bridge replacement project benefits Tulare County residents and visitors as it results in a modem, structurally sound, and functionally adequate bridge.

This action is consistent with Class 33 Section 15333 Small Habitat Restoration Projects. As noted earlier, the Revegetation Project will replace trees removed as part of the A venue 364 over Cottonwood Creek Bridge Project and will not exceed 5 acres in size to assure the maintenance, restoration, enhancement, or protect of habitat for fish, plants, or wildlife. Therefore, the application of CEQA Section 15333 is applicable and appropriate for this project.
