Document Description
Caltrans is proposing to rehabilitate pavement on the Westbound (WB) off ramp to Black Mountain Road on State Route (SR) 56 at postmile PM 7.737 in the City of San Diego, San Diego County. This project seeks to revitalize the life of the ramp and improve drivability by addressing pavement deterioration. All work will be on the paved travel way within Caltrans right-of-way and would include cold planing the top 0.20 feet of existing asphalt concrete and replacing with 0.20 feet of rubberized hot mix asphalt along the entire width of the ramp. No ground disturbance will occur. Environmental conditions are listed in the project’s Environmental Commitments Record (ECR).
