After Reviewing the project and its setting, the Environmental Coordinator for the County of Tuolumne has determined that the reconstruction of existing roads is categorically exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to Section 15301 of the State CEQA Guidelines. The project includes the repair and maintenance of existing roadways and involves no expansion of the existing use. None of the exceptions to the categorical exemptions provided in Section 15300.2 of the State CEQA Guidelines apply to the proposed project.
