Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SON-41977-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Kelder Engineering, Inc. The project is limited to a biotechnical bank stabilization along the Russian River. The project will stabilize approximately 3,890 square feet of eroding bank. The bank will be stabilized with rock riprap and interplanted with willow (Salix sp.) stakes. The project will result in 3,890 square feet of permanent impact to riparian habitat. No trees will be removed as part of this project. Access and staging will occur via an existing driveway and developed backyard. There will be no temporary impacts to riparian habitat from this project. All work will occur outside of the wetted portion of the channel.
