Document Description
The project will rehabilitate approximately 70 acers of spillway-adjacent slopes, focusing on re-establishing oak woodlands through soil amendments, reseeding, erosion control, and planting basins. Pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15304, Class 4, minor public or private alterations in the condition of land, water, and/or vegetation which do not involve removal of mature, scenic trees. The project involves restoring previously disturbed ground. The minor land alterations proposed by the project consist of re-establishing oak woodlands through soil amendments, reseeding, erosion control, and planting basins. The project has been reviewed and would not result in significant adverse effects and will ultimately result in the improvement of the oak woodland and grassland habitat in this area.
