Document Description
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA), working in partnership with Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), proposes improvements at the
North Hollywood station to create a mobility hub to support safe and convenient transfers between transportation modes, support first-llast•mile connections to transit,
and ensure equitable travel options for those with limited mobility choices (Project). Mobility hubs, which are at signature stations, enable mullimodal connections at
transfer and terminus points. Project elements are consistent wilh Metro's North Hollywood Joint Development and Consolidated Transit Center. All Project
Improvements are anticipated to be within Metro and City of Los Angeles-owned right-of-way.

The Project qualifies for a Categorical Exemption under CEQA Section 15301 as a Class 1 project. The Project proposes improvements at the existing North Hollywood station. Improvements to existing facilities include new pedestrian lighting, new shade canopies, furnishings, wayfinding signs within and around the station, and micromobility parking in the station plaza.
