The Federal Transit Administration (FTA), working in partnership with Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) is currently proposing the Willow Station Mobility Hub Project (Project). The Project would support safe and convenient transfers between transportation modes, facilitate first-/last-mile connections to transit, and ensure equitable travel options for those with limited mobility choices.

The Project qualifies for a Categorical Exemption under CEQA Section 15301 as a Class 1 project. The Project proposes improvements at the existing Willow Station. Improvements to existing facilities include but are not limited to micromobility parking, high-visibility parking, updated railway gates and enhances safety gates, new pedestrian lighting, drought-resistant shade trees, restrooms, and new wayfinding and furnishings.
