The encroachment permit applicant, Pacific Gas and Electric, is proposing to install 476' of 2 - 6" conduits with electrical conductors via horizontal directional drilling (HDD) bore through an existing pipe underground. Bore entry and exit are outside of Caltrans right-of-way. No soil or vegetation disturbance is proposed as part of the work. Caltrans would issue an encroachment permit to allow for the proposed work to occur within State right-of-way.
