Document Description
The purpose of this project is to excavate trenches for utility lines in the previously disturbed maintenance yard at Carnegie State Vehicular Recreation Area to supply power and water to the green shed in the maintenance yard. Work will be completed by State Parks staff during dry conditions. Work will:
Use an excavator to dig one (1) 6-inch-wide, 2-foot-deep by 205-foot-long trench and one (1) 6-inch-wide, 2-foot-deep by 96-foot-long trench from the maintenance yard to the shed; Install approximately 205 feet of 4-inch PVC pipe for the water line and 96 feet of 1-inch PVC pipe for electrical line: Connect the waterline for immediate use and connect electrical at a later time to allow for completion of a power upgrade in the park and for coordination with PG&E; and Backfill the trenches with the excavated materials.
