Document Description
This project site consists of an existing Medium Volume Construction Demolition/Inert Debris Processing Facility that receives less than 175 tons per operating day of construction, demolition, and inert (CDI) debris. The facility operates under a Registration Permit pursuant to Title 14 Section 18104. Since a Registration Permit cannot be modified or revised, a new Registration Permit is required for changes. The application package reflects a change in the Medium Volume Construction and Demolition/Inert Debris Processing Facility Plan. No changes to the existing operation are proposed, which includes the controlled separation, recovery, and recycling by manual and mechanical sorting of accepted COi debris. Separated recyclables are segregated and stored in bins or roll-offs until ready for shipping to markets. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm.
