Document Description
The road needs immediate emergency repair and replacement work to restore vehicle and emergency responder access, stabilize the slope, and to prevent any further erosion or complete loss of this section of road. This emergency repair project will replace an approximately 20-foot-long segment of 48-inch diameter CMP with 48-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe, install new concrete headwalls on both sides of the road, backfill the area of slope failure to restore the natural grade, and install a new paved road surface where the road has collapsed.
