This action is consistent with Section 15301 Class 1, Existing Facilities, operation, repair maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features. In this instance, to allow a new bridge location, a new BESS location, and a new access point location to the existing solar facility with the features noted earlier. The BESS was CEQA evaluated in the Mitigated Negative Declaration and NOD, State Clearinghouse Number 2020050500. Therefore, the application of CEQA Section 15301 (e)(2) is applicable and appropriate for this project.
