Document Description
The County of Ventura proposes to conduct emergency repairs at three sites (Site A, Site B, and Site C) adjacent to the existing single-span bridge at Bridge Road over Santa Paula Creek (Bridge #52C-0053) (project). Improvements would provide slope reconstruction and stabilization and erosion control at three sites where scouring has jeopardized the abutments on both sides of the bridge and requires repairing and armoring to prevent further scouring and the possible loss of either abutment. Bridge Road Bride provides the only access route to approximately 12 properties location east of the creek. The project is needed to provide immediate stabilization for the bridge structure.
