Document Description
The California Dept. of Water Resources (and its potential contractor) will repair erosions along the western levee parallel to Old River. The erosions are encroaching into the levee’s matrix, as well as undermining the access road above the berm. Completing this project will halt further degradation to the access road, strengthen the riverbank slope, and prevent the potential failure of the levee which could cause flooding to surrounding areas. Beneficiares of this project include the department's facilities that operate the State Water Project.
