Document Description
Description of Nature, Purpose, and Beneficiaries of Project: The scope of work is to remove any excess wood mulch that is beyond 3" thick, and then scatter the existing mulch in areas that are less than 3" thick so that it's uniform throughout the entire area. There will be additional tree trimming mulch for areas that are less than 3" thick and repairs made to the irrigation system. The project would place new planting, where necessary and remove existing tree stumps. This emergency contract is needed to avoid the failure or threat of failure to the transportation system and to prevent or mitigate the loss or impairment of life, health, property, or essential public services as well as to the best interest to the state.
