The proposed project is an approval for revised automobile parking rates that will provide cost recovery for John Wayne Airport's (JWA) operational and Capital Improvement Program costs, safety, security, and quality of services for guests. In accordance with JWA’s Revenue Planning Policy, Board Resolution No. 87-825, Orange County Codified Ordinance section 2-1-1, and Federal Aviation Administration Policy on Rates and Charges, JWA is operated as a financially self-supporting enterprise business at no cost to the taxpayers through the imposition of fair and reasonable rentals, fees, and charges that maximize JWA’s revenues and cover all its costs.
