Document Description
Removal of four 8-inch diameter wood piles to be replaced with seven (7) 4-inch
diameter steel piles. This project includes a structural repair to ensure the stability and longevity of the existing structure. Workers/crew will park vehicles on the driveway of the house which is accessed through Cora Drive and proceed to access the construction site through the side of the property. Work is planned to be done from the existing structures and by using floating work platforms to assist with the work. Construction equipment would include the following: Work float, 150 lbs. pneumatic hammer, Ingersol compressor with air hoses and one utility work truck. Due to the limited access for heavy equipment, tracked equipment will not be used.
The proposed project would take approximately two (2) weeks from the start date. The project would occur between October 15 to December 31 to avoid the Clear Lake hitch. Vegetation is not present on site.

Although there are other lakebed projects that occurred around the lake prior to the proposed project, and some that will occur at the same time and after, the majority would be temporary with no or minimal expansion which sometimes can be associated with an increase of use. There are no officially designated state scenic highways according to the Caltrans List of Officially Designated County Scenic Highways.
