Reasons for Exemption
The project is within an urbanized area in which the restaurant will not exceed 2,500 square feet in floor area and does not involve the use of significant amounts of hazardous substances. As such, Conditional Use Permit 22-04 – and adjoining Extension of Time 24-05 – is Categorically Exempt from CEQA pursuant to §15303 of CEQA Guidelines. Furthermore, Conditions of Approval will be imposed to alleviate potential impacts and there are no additional potential significant environment impacts that may result from the proposed development and establishment of the proposed project.
