Document Description
The El Dorado Irrigation District (District) proposes to replace the operations trailer at the Reservoir A Drinking Water Treatment Plant (Res A WTP) located in Pollock Pines, CA. Res A WTP is the District's largest treatment plant delivering approximately two-thirds of the District's water supplies on an annual basis. The Res A WTP has an existing single-wide mobile home that is utilized as an operation trailer, providing a break area, meeting room, office spaces, and living quarters to support 24-hour/7-days per week staffing. The existing trailer has degraded and requires replacement. Project activities will include demolition and removal of the existing mobile home and appurtenances, installation of the new trailer, and installation of all appurtenant elements for the new trailer (e.g., utilities, water, fire). The replacement trailer would be installed in a new location within the WTP facility that is closer to both control rooms at the WTP, providing safer access during inclement weather. The new location will also not require construction of a retaining wall, which would be required if installed at the same location as the existing mobile home. All construction activities will occur within the existing Res A WTP facility and as such all ground disturbing activities would occur in previously disturbed areas. Best management practices will be utilized to ensure disturbed areas are stabilized and not subject to erosion. The

None of the exceptions to this exemption, as identified under CCR, Title 14, Section 15300.2, apply to this project, including; located in an area of hazardous or critical concern, cumulative impact, significant effect due to unusual
circumstances, scenic highways, hazardous waste sites, and historical resources.
