Document Description
The proposed improvements at these seven locations would include a combination of pavement markings, restriping , signage, highly visible pedestrian crossings, accessible curb ramps, adjustments to signal operations, and traffic calming features. Traffic calming features would include speed humps, raised crosswalks, transverse rumble strips, rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFB) and medians or islands. Construction staging for the seven sites would be analyzed on a site-by-site basis and none are expected to require land acquisition or any permanent easements. All improvements are anticipated to be built within public right of way with minimal traffic disruption.
