Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SON-49400-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Sonoma County Public Infrastructure, as represented Hunter McLaughlin. The Project is limited to unnamed tributary (ditch) maintenance via excavation, restoration activities for previously completed culvert replacements, and culvert replacement activities, as outlined below. Project activities on Bloomfield Road MM 10.010 to 10.015 are limited to excavation of a roadside unnamed tributary to Americano Creek. The Project will clear debris and sediment to improve flow. Project activities on Fort Ross Road include culvert replacements completed in September 2024 at the five locations above occurring on or near an unnamed tributary to the South Fork Gualala River: Fort Ross Road MM 15.694 work consisted of removal and replacement of a 23-foot by 18-inch corrugated metal pipe (CMP) and removal and replacement of 49.5 square feet of rock slope protection (RSP). Fort Ross Road MM 15.855 work consisted of removal of a 40-foot by 48-inch CMP and installation of a 40-foot by 48-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP. Fort Ross Road MM 15.968 work consisted of removal of a 32-foot by 12-inch CMP and installation of a 32-foot by 18-inch CMP. Ford Ross Road MM 16.10 work consisted of removal and replacement of a 40-foot by 18-inch CMP, removal and replacement of 81 square feet of RSP, and installation of one concrete straight headwall with a footprint of 9.5 feet by 10 inches. Fort Ross Road MM 16.31 work consisted of removal of a 46-foot by 24-inch CMP and installation of a 35-foot by 24-inch CMP, and removal and replacement of 132 square feet of RSP. Project activities at Morelli Lane MM 10.494 are limited to the removal of a 31-foot by 12-inch CMP and installation of a 31-foot by 18-inch CMP, and removal and replacement of 63 square feet of RSP, on North Fork of Lancel Creek. Project activities at Morelli Lane MM 10.643 are limited to removal of a 25-foot by 12-inch RCP and installation of a 25-foot by 18-inch RCP, and installation of two concrete straight headwalls with footprints of 9.5 feet by 10 inches near the inlet and outlet of the culvert on North Fork of Lancel Creek. Project activities at Sonoma Mountain Road MM 24.141 are limited to removal and replacement of a 41-foot by 18-inch CMP, and removal of one California bay tree (Umbellularia californica) with a diameter at breast height (DBH) of four inches, on Matanza Creek.
