Document Description
The City of Berkeley Parks, Recreation & Waterfront Division proposes implementing various new elements to the existing Tom Bates Regional Sports Complex. The proposed conceptual layout includes the construction of new community space facility with restrooms, multi-use room and storage room; new youth (U8) soccer field, eight pickleball courts; reconfigured parking lot with electric vehicle charging stations and temporary lot during construction; bicycle racks and lockers, walkways that are compliant with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA); stormwater bioretention features, landscaped areas; new electric service and a sanitary sewer lift station. Appropriate mitigation measures have been identified in the study and will be implemented.
