Document Description
The project will investigate and decommission subsurface agricultural drains believed to be draining groundwater away from Laguna Seca wetland, through targeted excavation. Two beaver dam analogs will be built from locally collected natural materials and installed in an artificial channel draining the wetland area. These actions will increase the amount of water retained and the duration of inundation in Laguna Seca to benefit aquatic species.
