Document Description
The County of Mendocino is proposing to install an Emergency Warning Siren System (EVWS) in Redwood Valley to enhance public safety and emergency response capabilities. The project is funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP). The EVWS will consist of four sites, each equipped with a 4000-watt speaker array, solar power, control and communication systems, and additional safety features. The system is designed to provide 360-degree sound coverage and deliver timely alerts to residents during emergencies.
