Document Description
This project will create a small outdoor break area and install a trailer pad for the incident command trailer located at the NORCOM facility within Prairie City State Vehicular Recreation Area. Work will use heavy equipment and hand tools to complete the following work:
For the Break Area:
• Move cobble and level the ground;
• Dig four (4) 12-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep holes and backfill with concrete for footings; and
• Construct the shade ramada and install artificial turf under the shade ramada.
For the Trailer Pad:
• Remove one (1) oak tree;
• Dig four (4) 12-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep holes and backfill with concrete for metal awning footings;
• Add road base to an approx.15 foot wide by 30-foot-long area to serve as a parking spot for the incident command trailer;
• Remove a section of existing fencing; and
• Pour a 6-inch-deep by 18-inch-wide by 32-foot-long concrete pad and install a track for a 16-foot rolling gate.
