Document Description
The purpose of this project is to install a native plant demonstration garden along the trail at Nimbus Hatchery. To achieve this, the project calls for:
• using hand tools such as loppers, weed wrenches, and weed whackers to remove invasive plants from approximately 250 feet of trail-adjacent ground,
• removal of all rocks larger than four inches in diameter from this area,
• tilling and loosening soil to a depth of 12-18 inches,
• installation of drip irrigation line
• planting a variety of native species including bushes, shrubs, grasses, and perennials.
