Document Description
This project consists of performing a geotechnical investigation at Big Basin Redwoods State Park to assess the feasibility of using Huckleberry Campground for primitive camping. Work includes boring at seven (7) approximate locations for proposed CXT vault restrooms and water tank. Borings will be no more than 15-feet in depth and will be backfilled with native material from excavation. Three (3) additional borings will be taken at distressed roadway sections to evaluate roadway strength. Borings will then be back backfilled with excavated material
