Reasons for Exemption
The use of Section 15332, Class 32, is applicable and appropriate since the project would utilize the existing open area of this lot to store vehicles and equipment to establish a Contractor's Storage Yard within Matheny Tract's Legacy Development Boundary [Urban Boundaries are considered to be within city limits] on a property that is less than 5 acres that is surrounded by urban uses (Residential homes located adjacent north, east and west and a church located adjacent south of the project site). The proposed Contractor's Storage Yard would not result in any significant effects relating to traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality and the existing site can be adequately served by all required utilities and public services.
