Document Description
The proposed Project involves the installation of a new recycled water pipeline along Del Obispo Street and a portion of Quall Run Road in the City of Dana Point (City). The South Coast Water District (SCWD) will serve as the Lead Agency for this proposed Project and will oversee the Project's California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance. The Project site is surrounded by an urban environment developed with roads, residential and commercial development, and parks and recreational facilities. The Project site would be confined to the roadway right-of-way (ROW), The proposed Project would involve the following activities: construction of approximately 5,165 linear feet (LF) of 12-inch recycled water main; construction of 16 recycled water irrigation service laterals; modification of existing facilities as required to facilitate interface and connection to new Improvements; connection of new piping to the existing water system; and removal and replacement of pavement to restore paving and sitework to preconstruction conditions. All improvements would be located within SCWDs water-service area and within the City of Dana Point ROW. No temporary access or construction staging outside the street ROW would occur.
