Document Description
The Project would involve a Planned Development and Conditional Use Permit for the construction of a new air museum including the construction of four aviation hangars (named Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta) with a lobby and gift shop (in building Alpha only), restrooms, collection storage, offices, and parking lot over 12.11 acres. The aviation hangars would be approximately 119,672 square feet (sf) total and 9,290 sf for offices. The Project site would include 145 parking spaces, including eleven Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant spaces, and twenty parking spaces equipped with electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The museum would be open to the public Wednesday – Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with monthly educational lectures, flight demonstrations, a veteran’s program, and occasional special events. Staff of up to 15 would work on site seven days per week between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
