Document Description
This project aims to address significant flooding and infrastructure deterioration caused by recent summer monsoon storms affecting the culvert under State Route 203 at Dry Creek, as well as related drainage issues at the junction with Lake Mary Road. The flooding resulted from a blockage in the culvert, which has been compounded by debris accumulation and severe corrosion, necessitating urgent repairs before winter weather exacerbates the situation. Scope of Work: Dry Creek: Remove and replace the existing culvert. Install a debris grate at the inlet to prevent future blockages. Provide rock slope protection at the outlet. Excavate embankment material to facilitate the installation of the new culvert. Patch the roadway and re-stripe as needed. Consider the potential to abandon the existing culvert in place, subject to further design evaluation. Lake Mary Road Junction: Remove the existing slot drain and associated damaged concrete. Abandon drainage features at this location, as they are no longer necessary due to adjacent development. Repair roadway smoothness by patching the area with concrete.
