Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to enhance crosswalk markings and install pedestrian signs on State Route 12, 26, 120, and 108 in San Joaquin and Stanislaus County. New crosswalk markings will be in ladder patterns and enhanced with wet night visibility. All work will be within Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of the project is to address the outdated crosswalk markings and lack of pedestrian signs to warn drivers. The project is needed to improve pedestrian crossing visibility.
