Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes an emergency project to stabilize the subsurface of State Route 4 from postmile 4.35 to 4.42 in San Joaquin County. High-density polyurethane foam will be injected as a stabilizer. All work will be within Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of this project is to address the sinking pavement due to the result of previous storms. The need of this project is to prevent and mitigate the loss or impairment of life, property, or essential public services.
