Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes maintenance repairs on eight (8) bridges along Interstate (I) 5, at various postmiles in San Joaquin County. The scope of work at these bridges includes replacing approach slabs, placing polyester concrete overlay on approach slabs and on bridge decks, replacing joint seals and replacing joint headers. All work will occur within Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of this project is to provide preventative maintenance to deteriorating sections of these bridges. The project needed to minimize future rehabilitation needs and maintain the bridge functionality.
