Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration
Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SFO-44497-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) as represented by Bessie Tam.
The purpose of the Project is to improve the stormwater management system with improved drainages at Yosemite Marsh, Yosemite Creek, and McLaren Lake, by installing a 1,700 foot stormwater channel between Bacon/Oxford Streets and Wayland/University Streets; bioretention basins in McLaren Park to reduce stormwater flooding in the park, and maximize infiltration; and installation of stormwater overflow inlet to divert excess stormwater to an underground cistern.

The Project consists of minor private alterations in the condition of land, water, and vegetation which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees; the construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures; the installation of small new equipment and facilities in small structures; and the conversion of existing small structures from one use to another where only minor modifications are made in the exterior of the structure.
