Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SCR-50422-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to David Wood. In 2022 and 2023, heavy storms caused a landslide on the banks of Shingle Mill Creek, immediately behind a single-family home. Existing concrete and wood retaining walls failed during this period and undermined an existing brick patio. The purpose of the Project is to stabilize the bank adjacent to the creek to protect the property from further erosion. The Project is limited to removing the failed retaining walls and concrete rubble and implementing vegetated rock slope protection (RSP) and a soldier pile wall to stabilize the bank.
