Reasons for Exemption
1. The project is consistent with the applicable General Plan designation and policies, and with the applicable zoning designation and regulations. 2. The project occurs within the Berkeley City limits on a project site of no more than five acres, and is surrounded by urban uses. 3. The parcels within the project site have previously been developed and have no value as habitat for endangered, rare or threatened species. 4. The project will not result in any significant effects relating to traffic, noise, air quality or water quality. The Traffic Impact Analysis prepared for the project was reviewed by the City Transportation Division which concurred with the findings of less than significant impacts. City Standard Conditions will address potential impacts related to traffic, noise, air quality, and water quality. 5. The site can be adequately served by all required utilities and public services.
