Document Description
Installation of a skid-mounted Liquid-to-Liquid Hydrogen Fueling Station to store and dispense metered liquid hydrogen (LH) into onboard LH vehicle tanks for top pick container handlers. The project involves the installation of a 60-foot x 20- foot skid on the new 4,730 square-foot concrete pad with a (1,300 kilogram (kg) / 6,000 gallon tank) liquid hydrogen tank surrounded by approximately 50 bollards with 6-foot spacing between them. Approximately 100 feet (L) will be trenched from a nearby light pole to a skid power panel, hydrogen dispenser, hydrogen pumps, and a hydrogen “control room.” The Control Room is a covered area for a fueling technician to monitor physical parameters during fuel transfer, storage, and dispensing (such as flow rates, volumes, pressure, tank levels, and dispenser interlocks) and readings from safety instrumentation (such as gas and flame leak detection systems).
