Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed
Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number LAK-52017-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, William Dixon. The project is limited to the installation of a 60-linear-foot vinyl seawall. Each prefabricated sheet of vinyl seawall will be driving a minimum of 6 feet into the lake bottom by a pneumatic air hammer on a barge. Excavation will not be required. The new seawall will be installed approximately 2 feet in front of the existing seawall and the new seawall will be backfilled with approximately 26 cubic yards of 3/4-inch lightweight drain rock. This project does not include removal of vegetation. Equipment used for this project includes a barge loaded with a mini excavator equipped with a 250-lb pneumatic air hammer and air compressors.
